Delete your OurPDFPal account

This page is for the OurPDFPal Android app (com.ourpdfpal.app), published by XhoXa Tech Solutions (https://xhoxa.com/). You can delete your app account and its data at any time, from the app or with the form below.

1. How to request deletion

  1. In the OurPDFPal app, open the Account tab and tap Delete account at the bottom. This opens this page with your email filled in. (You can also just open this page in any browser.)
  2. Enter the email address of your OurPDFPal app account and press Email me a confirmation link.
  3. Read one short summary of what you lose and what you keep, then press Continue.
  4. We email that address a confirmation link (valid 24 hours). Your deletion is scheduled only after you click it, and we then email you the deletion date.

3. When is my account deleted?

Your account is deleted automatically and permanently 15 days after you confirm. Until then you can cancel at any time with the Cancel deletion link in the email, or with the Cancel deletion button shown on the app's Account screen. Signing in to the app does not cancel the deletion.

4. What is deleted

  • Your app account: email address, name, password hash and Google sign-in link
  • Your sign-in sessions and any verification or reset codes
  • Your account's premium/plan status and the anonymous activity records linked to your account

5. What is kept or handled elsewhere

  • Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel in the Google Play Store app: Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › OurPDFPal.
  • Google keeps its purchase records (orders and receipts) under Google's own policies; our subscription provider RevenueCat keeps purchase records needed for billing and tax.
  • Google Drive backups live in your own Google Drive (hidden app folder), not on our servers. You can remove them in Google Drive › Settings › Manage apps › OurPDFPal › Delete hidden app data.
  • Converted files and history on your phone are not deleted. They stay on your phone until you delete the files or uninstall the app.
  • A minimal record that a deletion was completed (email address and dates, without reason or IP address), and an internal audit log entry, are kept as proof that we honoured your request.
  • Aggregate statistics (for example "PDF to Word ran 120 times today") contain no personal data and are kept.

6. Website accounts

Accounts on the ourpdfpal.com website are separate from app accounts. To delete a website account, email business@xhoxa.com from the account's email address.
