Why is my PDF file size still too large after compression?

Last updated: Mar 1, 2026

If your PDF remains large, it usually contains high-resolution images or large embedded fonts. To get the best results, ensure you select a higher compression level. If the file is still too big, try splitting the PDF into multiple smaller files or converting images within the PDF to a lower DPI before re-compressing.
